Architect Nate Meyer joined Halflants + Pichette on August 1st. He moved from Tampa Bay after practicing in St Petersburg and Tampa. He brings to the office over ten years of experience in the design and management of large scale municipal and higher education projects. Most recently, he was the project architect for the 80,000sf Student Academic Center on FIU’s campus in Miami. He oversaw the design and construction of the Town of Indian Shores Public Library, and of the University of Florida’s Office of Student Life. Principal Michael Halflants met Nate as his student in 2004 while he was completing his masters at USF’s Graduate School of Architecture. In the office, Nate will first oversee the design and construction of Zahrada, a high-end housing project in the Rosemary District.
